Shoulder Joint Pain Success

"I have to call Boris a miracle worker. Seven years ago, I tore ligaments in my right shoulder. I had painful crepitus, pain in the joint, and was unable to lift my arm above my head. My physical therapist said my shoulder muscles would never be strong enough to hold the shoulder in place, so she sent me to a surgeon. The surgeon sent me back to physical therapy, saying that the surgery he normally performs wouldn't work, and I'd end up needing my shoulder fused. A couple months later, I was referred to Boris. I walked into his office with a pain ranking about 5 on the 1 to 10 scale. By the time he was done with me, the pain was completely gone (I'd rate it about 1-1.5 out of 10, ongoing). For the first time in years, I had a full - and pain free! - range of motion. Incredible!

Boris says he works "away from pain," and it's the only way to go. He is careful, thorough, and able to tease apart halting explanations of discomfort in order to get to the source of problems. His work is gentle, and he really listens to both what's coming out of my mouth, and what my body is saying. Boris also understands that an injury leads the body to compensate in strange ways, and works from the outside in. For me, that meant starting with my lower back. Tenacious, Boris is never done until he fixes the problem. I would have been happy if he had stopped halfway, but Boris knows the human body so well, he was able to mend an injury that had stumped a surgeon.

I was skeptical at first, because so many professionals had failed at bringing me any relief. But I'm incredibly thankful for Boris' unique work. Thanks to him, I will be able to pursue the physically demanding career of my dreams, instead of being stuck behind a desk."
